About Us

At Liberty Bagel Cafe, the doors open before the sun fully rises on 326 New Brunswick Ave, and the ovens are already running. The smell of fresh-baked dough hits you at the door, and the coffee is already hot.

The menu covers the full spread of a classic New Jersey bagel shop, from loaded breakfast sandwiches and home fries to deli subs and cream cheese in every variety you can think of. Whether you want a quick toasted everything with scallion schmear or a full egg-and-meat combo to carry you through a long shift, this kitchen cranks it out fast.

With nearly 900 Google reviews and a loyal base of regulars who keep coming back before the morning rush, Liberty Bagel has carved out its place in the Fords, NJ breakfast routine. What We Offer

Liberty Bagel Cafe runs the full range of a working-class Jersey bagel counter. The bagel menu covers every variety you expect, plain through everything, with fresh-baked rounds available for individual sandwiches or by the dozen to take home.

Breakfast sandwiches are the engine of the operation: eggs, meats, and melted cheese stacked on your choice of bagel, roll, or wrap. The deli side of the menu brings cold cut heroes, hot subs, and build-your-own options that carry well past breakfast into the lunch hour. Home fries, soups, and grab-and-go items round out the counter.

Online ordering is available for those who want to skip the line, and the kitchen handles catering-sized bagel orders for offices and group events throughout Middlesex County. Hours run 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM every day of the week, making it one of the most consistently available breakfast spots in the area.

"Liberty Bagel Terrible experience from start to finish. The older man who works the register, who I later found out is the owner, was extremely rude and mean for no reason. There was zero customer service or basic respect. They made my order wrong, and when I politely told him the order was incorrect, instead of fixing their mistake, he tried to make me pay for a whole new order. That alone was unacceptable. When I finally received the food, it was completely overcooked and tasted horrible. On top of that, the female cook had a serious attitude while preparing my food. After the issue at the register, it honestly felt like my food was intentionally overcooked. I had to ask for it to be remade, which should never be an issue when the kitchen is clearly at fault. Overall, the customer service is horrible, the staff is rude, and the food quality does not match the prices. They are more concerned about overpriced profit than great customer service. It is extremely overpriced for what you get. I will not be returning and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values decent service and properly prepared food."

"Very expensive breakfast yet portion in miserable. $13 dollars will get you 3 pieces potatoes not to mention extra for the eggs that looks like still one egg."

"Got a order online. All the food was over cooked by a long run and was just tossed in the bag. Owner took no accountability for over cooked steak and bagel overly toasted. Home fries where thrown in the bag. Honestly worse experience I had here to date. They really need to work on customer service and attention to orders. Food was ruined and inedible"

"I used to eat here every week with my friends but now that we all older I have to come here by myself, this the kind of food that still makes you feel like you eating with those friends though. From the lady taking your order at the register, to the cooks working relentlessly, and the owner’s sacrificing a lot to make this be the best breakfast spot around. 10/10 recommend"
